Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Payd’s website, account features and transfer preview, provided by Thinqr-org, LLC. By using these features, you agree to these terms.

Current service: preview and testing

Payd is in development. Live money transfers and payouts are not available. Stripe payments run in test mode. Test confirmations, tracking statuses, exchange rates, fees and destination amounts do not represent a real transfer, a live exchange quote or a promise of delivery.

Use test payment details for payment testing. Do not rely on a preview or test transaction to pay a recipient or meet a financial obligation. Availability, pricing and terms for any future live transfer service will be presented before that service is offered.

Your account and information

You must be at least 18 to use Payd’s account features. Provide accurate information, use an account you control and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Only enter recipient information that you are authorized to provide. Check the names, contact details and bank or mobile-wallet information you submit.

Verification and access

Payd requires identity verification with Didit before an account can start a transaction. Phone verification, onboarding, account review and security checks can also apply. An approved verification does not guarantee account access or the availability of a live transfer service.

We can restrict features or suspend access to investigate inaccurate information, failed verification, suspected fraud, misuse or security problems. Contact us if you need help understanding an account restriction.

Acceptable use

Do not use Payd for unlawful activity, submit false identity documents, impersonate someone, access another person’s account without authorization, interfere with the service or attempt to bypass its authentication, verification or other security controls.

External services and privacy

Payd relies on external providers for sign-in, identity and phone verification, test payments and hosting. Their availability and any terms shown by them apply to your use of their services. Payd’s use of personal information is described in our privacy policy.

Availability and changes

Features can be interrupted, changed or withdrawn while Payd is in development. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular launch date or support for a particular destination or payout method.

We will post updates to these terms here and update the date above. Additional terms can apply to future features and will be presented when those features become available.
